When I entered the class, they were sure I was alive.
When I was absent they were worried.
When the class was over, they prayed for me.
The prison became a safer place for me.
I felt more secured and protected.
In times of crisis seek God's power.
Their prayer for me.
Dear God father almighty
We call on YOU to protect our trainer
Where ever she is lay your hands upon her
Build your garment of protection over her
Please God, bring a lasting solution to the crisis in our nation Cameroon
We thank you for giving her the courage to come here during this turbulent period
Please give her more strength and endurance to overcome all challenges she may face
God have mercy upon us
Amen!

Hello my dear sister
Thanks for Sharing this prayer with us.
Welcome my dear sis . The feeling was good, so I had to share.
Dear Sophie,
What a beautiful, loving prayer for you. How much they have treasured your presence. Such beauty shines out from the photo. It is so good that you have been able to get into the prison to meet women. I learned a lot from women in my country who had been in prison, and learned how society had failed them. I am sure the women you have met will never forget the love you shared.
With love to you and wishes for your safety and the safety of all in your country these days,
Tam

Beautiful work or my beautiful sister
Beautiful post, Sophie! I have a friend from Cameroon who is pursuing a Masters in Education from Finland. He recently posted on Facebook how his father was kidnapped for ransom and returned only to have his house burnt down due to a regional conflict. It truly is a much harder life in some parts of the world but I see hope to see people like you (and him) work for the peace of your country, in different yet very important ways. No wonder your class loves and prays for you! Keep doing what you are doing!
Aww Amen Big Sis,
Thanks for sharing. I found the Prison a safe place too when I worked there for 3 years. Never was I robbed or mugged by the inmates, only a warder searching my stuff stole my wallet can you believe this? Anyways, I really love it that they prayed for you like that because you were such a ray of Hope for them.
All the best in your endeavours
Dear Sophie,
This is so inspiring, thank you.
