"She Just Turned Twelve" .

She just turned twelve Her body's developing curves Boys are growing the nerves I must be her first.

Mummy is too busy And when it comes to..female issues, daddy is lazy. So she tries to figure out with her little mind so hazy. Oh no, even for grown ups, it's never that easy .

So she uses foam Oh another friend said some leaves too can go Her vagina suffers itches and swells for every flow She can't tell no one , for it has become too nasty to show And her self-esteem is affected and low She's no longer comfortable amongst many, she prefers to work solo

But oh, if only she was aware Menses is natural, and infact it indicates a woman is growing well She could have comfortably , boldly sought for help Her womanhood could have been healthy and preserved Her esteem high , for she'll be proud of her health.

Let's educate the young girls As quickly as we care For their good health, is our wealth. For knowledge of their menstrual health, will yield a planned world Yes no unplanned pregnancies No unhealthy relationships No abandoned babies

Menstrual health awareness Results to a happy world Will you spread the word? She just turned twelve. - Olive Abunaw
