MY STORY MY WEAPON PART2

The pains continued my mom took me to the hospital when we got there the doctor checked the leg and asked my mom why she kept me this long she couldn't alter a word only tears flowing from her eyes Like a fountain of water

The doctor told my mom that my leg is "rotine" that there is pours in my legs because the two legs were affected but one was severe . He incise the legs and remove the pours and dress the wounds I thought that was just it in a week or two everything will be ok and I will start going back to school my mom also hard the same thought in her mind. We got home for the first time since the incident I left like a baby I felt relief. It was now a routine something every day we went to the hospital to dress the wounds but every day it seems the wound became fresh again no sign of it getting finished. My mom asked the doctor how long will it take for the wounds to respond to treatment the doctor told us he doesn't know it was like taking a journey from somewhere to no where . Any time I think of school I will cry out my tears but as tender as I was I believe God will heal me so I will always call my mom for us to pray . My aunt who was a nurse in my Town of origin got the news and informed my maternal grandfather and he send and urgent letter with a bahamer grass according to my tradition bahamer grass in the form of letter means you should come as soon as possible. So my mom took me to my home town and moved to the village cause we have an Othopedic hospital there by name SAJOCA so they took me there when the doctor did X-Ray he told my mom that the right leg all the front born is bad beyond repairs they only have to remove it all and throw but for the right leg the won't do any thing there they will just give me drugs but the need 350000frs for my operation. My mom being a single mother and a Peasant farmer where will she have this kind of money she cried and cried but crying has never solved any problem neither will it ever solve it my aunt stood as a surety since some of the Admistrators knew her this is someone my mom grew that could even pay the bills but as it is said some families "any man for e self God for we all" that is how it was but I thank her for standing as surety if not maybe my leg would have been amputated. My operation lasted for almost 5hours they told my mom they don't have artificial born to put in my leg I will need to go to another of their branch in another town for them to do I never knew my case file from one hospital to another just open this was already a year I haven't gone to school I will not only suffer from leg problem I may also end up as an ilitrate that was my thought

My mom asked the doctor the name of what was disturbing my born and the doctor said Ostromalitis.

All my wounds got treated stage one has gone the left leg healed completely now the right has no tibia so I had to go on with two crutches and P.O.P for two years and I went back to school. But it wasn't the end as I said my case file from one hospital to another just open. To be continued.....
