World Pulse and I

Olanike Adesanya
Posted December 9, 2020 from Nigeria

Since I became a member of World Pulse, not quite long, my voice counts and is heared all over the places World Pulse members are across the globe.

My Vision waxes clearer and so is my Mission, stronger.

World Pulse daily builds in me the confidence I need to herald Gender Equality and it's sustainability, first, by availability of accessible quality Information.

I am able to reach out to more teenagers and get them informed how important they are and how Education and Productive Trade can improve the quality of their being and living, not just existing as less than human simple bcos they are Girls.

Thank you World Pulse, first for getting me back to my account and secondly for this opportunity given me to reach out to the world.

1st of all, dear Sister,
Lemme appreciate your love for my name.
Olanike is a YORÙBÂ name (SouthWestern Nigeria) given to girls only. Ola means my wealth; meaning, to my father, I am his wealth. He has faith in me, though a girl in the world of Men. Nike means; I got to take a good care of her, (my wealth). ❤️.
Thank you Ma.
Then, I am grateful for your kind words full of encouragement.
I am doing all I can reach out unto the "poor" girls around me, to give them quality information about all they need to know about the strengths in them as Girls, that do not make them less than human beings, or less than the Boys.
Many of them never knew that, being all girls in the hands of their parents does not relegate their parents to the backseat in the town's meeting.
I try to make them see themselves as same natured as their male counterparts.
To the indegents among them, my team offer assistance...both in school fees, uniforms and other learning materials other resources they need.
I put them back on the track of path to SUCCESS...

Thank you my Darling Sister for your comments and kind words.
I will surely upload updates of our Activities among Girls and Women.
In my community, my team is seriously ensuring no Girlchild drops out of school, especially, due to useful information about their future which is helpful for them in their decision making as regards career and financial assistance to the very indegents.
Thank you.
My Sister for life.
Much Hugs.
Ramadan Kareem in advance.
Many Happy Returns too.
