Hi, My name is Nina and I am a small business owner, a writer, a mother a rape advocate and a survivor of rape.
My book “The Blossoming of the Sacred Lotus,” is part biography, part instruction manual for other women who have gone through this type of trauma. I wrote this book to let other survivors know that they are not alone.
“After my assault, it took me a long time to recalibrate my life,”. “I like to tell people that I was broken, but not broke. I still had my strength and determination. I still had my voice. I still had my power. This is my capital in the world, and I wasn’t about to let my attacker take that away from me as well.”
That strength that led me towards other survivors, where she listened, counseled, and “stood in the gaps” to help them through their struggles. “The Blossoming of the Sacred Lotus” is my way of sharing that message with more survivors as they navigate the difficult journey of sexual assault recovery.

Well done Ninak, the phase of Molestation, pain and recovery is a journey that seem un-ending. Forgiving is a good option but forgetting is a bitter pill because the scare is always there to remind you what you've been through. However, the joy is recovered when you break through and reach out to people with similar cases then a sigh of relieve and a beautiful smile is seen across their lips as a surge of assurance spreads through their spine that they are not alone. I am a Survivor of this Pain.
Thank you sister for your testimony. Lovely to see other sisters in Yah, who have overcame and has been used as a vessle through pain. As soon as I saw your book I was Inspired by the picture alone and title. So I rushed to the kindle to get a sample as I am in transition of writing, but honestly do not know where to start. As I read that you felt the same way that gave me peace and I have only got to the point of your sister hurting her leg and it has stopped there. I was actually getting into it aswell. I must buy the book because I want to k ow the rest. I thank you for stepping out and allowing Yah to use you. I pray that everything that you do will draw more people to be healed and speak up. Much love to you and your family.
Tehilah
Dear Nina,
You are one brave woman. The way you handled that traumatic experience is admirable. You refused to remain a victim and chose to become a resource and a source of inspiration and support for other victims of sexual assault. If you can do it, other women can, too.
Hugggsss and looking forward to read your stories.
You are such an inspiration! Thank you for turning your trial into triumph. Blessings to you
