Our little way to show love to the vulnerable

Posted March 31, 2020 from Cameroon

Yesterday my organisation set out to sensitise the local communities on COVID-19 and how they could prevent themselves from contacting the virus and also prevent the further spread of it.  We were able to share hand sanitizer, soap, and hand gloves. The virus is actually spreading like wild fire. This morning  113 cases have been confirmed in cameroon with 6 death. Knowing my beloved country na its social culture. Social and physical distancing might be a very hard nut to crack. But we do our best to tell them what is out there in local languages so they could understand.

We were able to give some tap buckets in two health centres to facilitate  running water for the local population for proper hand washing

Awesome initiative, I love the shirtless man in the picture-typical African man. I do hope we are able to kill this pandemic by adhering to strict hygiene practices which we all need at the moment. Keep up the good work. Kindly follow me back.
