But last year in a comic stip by 'Years of Living Dangerously'traces the root of Syrian war to Climate Change.

It is an example of how far the ramifications of Climate Change can go.

Dear Nusrat,

Thank you for this information. Despite many media reports, this part of the history of Syria is largely unknown. The brutal government response to this ecological disaster needs to be recognised. Along with addressing climate change itself, it is necessary to find ways to support and protect those who are being so cruelly punished for speaking out. I learned a lot from this comic strip.
