At Last I found New Love! Hugs and Kisses-PW!

This week has been the most memorable time for me ever since I joined Pulse wire and how Web 2.0 has impacted on my life! Ever since I started here four months ago my desires and energy have been directed to Pulse Wire. Not because am not busy, but that I have found a purpose in life to live and die for. A belief that heroines are within us and are not cast on stones.Having connected with a pulse wire sister on the group discussions she had posted for Kenyan Sisters, I saw unforeseen opportunity to learn, to interact, to share and be part of the International group. and I seize it.

Many of my folks have always regarded the UN Headquarters as a country of its own with its governance, because it occupies almost 200 acres of fertile land and an ecosystem that is out of bounds for idlers. Infact as you approach the UN there are warnings of trespassing, taking photos of the USA Embassy ahahahh to be dealt with, ahahahah. So this week as I put on my badge to attend the 6th Internet Governance Forum, I felt very privileged, to have awakened my passion of wanting to learn more of the Information Technology. I must say I learnt very important aspects about the cybercrime that I had not taken interest or for granted, the UK Minister had been taken to task a number of times to explain issues surrounding child abuse on the net. And hearing stories of what happened in Egypt from a panelist who is Egyptian.

Sometimes I would be confused on terms like DNSECC, Clouding, rooting. But thanks to a lady from China who explained in simple terms what they meant in IT, ahhaaha. It reminded me of also the jargon we use in medicine, and nursing, ahahahah. One participant during tea time shared with me about the way to stay safe and how the US and Europe are putting stringent measures to safe guard innocent users of sites. All this things carried a lot more meaning to commit for a worthy cause on earth as you meet with people. Sitting with all people around the world sharing about the have and have-nots in information technology, gave me more desires to follow my heart in this path of writing to inform and translate knowledge into action every time we get an opportunity. The best learning part of this experience led me to reflect that information shared is half way implemented. People were so eager to learn from each other regardless of race, language or sex.

Sometimes the turbulence of emotions and yearning to be loved or to love increased my satiety to follow the path less traveled. I have come to realize that people come into our lives for a season or a reason. Yet their reasons could be varied as the stars in the sky and dunes in the desert, all of these is a why people come into our lives for a purpose and reason. Yet this reasons can be varied, out of experience or perceptions influenced by our upbringing. They should form a basis to improve perceptions of life. My purpose is to improve information on my profession and strengthen colleagues to take more interest in other areas than patients, aha. Pulse wire has provided me with a sanctuary to reflect, to explore thoughts that I wouldn’t have expressed before out of sheer lack of confidence and victimization.

As I lie down to sleep, I say a big thank you to all Pulse Wire Sisters. Kindly listen to the most controversial woman singer Madonna on you tube. The song- ‘I Remember’ gives me solitude and I see Madonna’s humanity, a yearning to be loved but always misunderstood-She has never given up singing, ahaha. Sometimes here in Pulse Wire other readers may misunderstand our purpose to express all that we have in us, but we do not give up!
