Amanda Obidike For World Pulse Spirits Awards, 2020 (Super Powers).

At first, I do not often post stories here but I read world changers Stories from around the World. Every woman here has shown how she shapes change in their Community.

A couple of days ago, black people on Twitter shared their various "superpowers". These "superpowers" are heroes either inspired from the cartoons they watched growing up or their hidden skills they rarely show. When I read some of the posts on Twitter, I remembered the woman who introduced me to World Pulse.

Her name is Amanda Obidike.

Amanda Obidike has diverse and numerous super powers that she may not know of.

1. She is a connector. I remember when I reached out to her when I had some challenge about a copyright issue. She called some lawyers who offered me pro-bono tips and procedures for free. She shares her network, friends, and is always happy to give you that emotional support to win.

2. She is an enabler. To her, nothing is impossible. She always tells us as mentees that we there is nothing wrong in trying. Just DO IT. She is the one person who sees a problem and looks for how to create a solution.

3. She is a Voice. A voice for the people. A voice for Africa and a Voice for our gender. Her mentoring program has helped young girls find their voice and dreams. This alone is an inspiration and I am happy to have crossed paths with her.

4. Through her work, she Provided an ecosystem for 32 young Entrepreneurs with access to technology tools to help them incubate, innovate, and commercialize their ideas. This supported the development of 28 small businesses owned by young girls to scale up their strategies and plans for small investments by the Tony Elumelu Foundation as of 2019. 65 women in the Alahun Osumba community were trained to build Data logging IoT weather stations to utilize the data collected from their IoT climate system and monitor crops, soil quality and control pests in their farm produce.

She Setup 34 Innovation Clubs in 17 Underserved communities in Beau, Bamenda, Kabwe, Ojo, Ifelodun-Ajeromi and Amuwo-Odofin LCDA where over 1950 students collaborate, design, and Ideate solutions.

Introduced STEM Education and Reading literacy to 2,805 young students in Gawuna Science and Technology School, Kano State.

This is to mention a few. I am blessed to know her and work with her team. I pray God gives her the strength, wisdom and more Grace to impact more lives. I also pray God also Grant her heart desires.

Thank you.
