EVER THOUGHT OF THE EFFECT OF EXTENDED FAMILLY

It is an Africa culture that we live together, aunt, uncle, cousin and etc.
This has been our life style, almost 94% of African family are extended.
By staying together we believe its our way to display love and generosity,
also it is herited thing, because the elder brother or sister while growing up
there told to work hard so as to take care of his young ones and this is up
to when his/she is married. I grow-up in extended family,am not criticizing it but
am only sharing my experience.

Parents, guidance and all those who carry the responsibility of parents in spite our
way of showing love, giving support to in our family who are in need,we forget that
our children needs us.

With extended family we fail......
Lack of affection. Love is divided,as parent try so much to equalize affection so that his relatives
shouldn't feel bad same as to the children. The ability to know the true characteristic of children is so low, hence can't correct nor develop those discovered, this is why we are poor in discovering our kids ability at an early stage. It's difficult to acquire trust from the children because there is luck of private time together, your not the only source of information to them at home.
please do not get me wrong on the existence of extended family, but your children s wish to share with you a lot of things its just too crowdy
