Pandemic within a Pandemic; The prevalence of gender based violence

Gender-based violence has disproportionately affected girls and women, it has skyrocketed from 30% before the lockdown to 70% during the lockdown. It has been a huge burden for me lately that I was compelled to start my NGO  I have wanting to do over the years and I doing different webinars programs advocate against gender-based violence. The name of my NGO is the diary of the African Child.  Our aim is to see that gender-based violence reduces to the maximum and help girls and women to reach their potentials. You can check my Instagram page @oludolapo_adigun. If you are also interested in my initiative you can send me a mail [email protected].

I really want to do go beyond doing webinars and help women and girls with the right resources that can help them. I also need ideas on how my NGO can grow.

Hello Dolly p.
How are you doing today?
Trust you are safe? Thank you for sharing and Thank you also for having it in mind to take care of women and and girl child in general, here are ideas to run a successful Ngo Network:
Make friends with people and organizations doing similar work so that you can learn from their successes and mistakes. Networking also helps you to know when to team up and when to divide your efforts for maximum effectiveness .Create a website for your Ngo .

Thank you for the commitment to women and girls. Indeed we have seen a pandemic within a pandemic. The sad part is within a crisis, response and service to gender based violence always takes a hit, even though it’s on the increase. We should have a global network on this so we re not working in isolation. This will be the best way to amplify all our voices. Congratulations for taking this bold step during this difficult time!
