The beginning of new dawn

Earlier this year, I started my NGO.

The Diary of an African Child.

We are a non-profit organization with a mission to empower African children through self-development courses and encouraging them to be the best they can by creating a platform that helps them nurture their ideas and unleash their potentials in the global world.

We at The Diary of An African Child, believe every child has the potential to be built upon despite their demographics, history, and story. We take it as our goal to make these children understand that no matter what, they can do it.

OUR PROJECTS

Reach out to children in over 15 countries across the African continent by the year 2040.

Support for distressed children and rape victims across the African continent.

Mentor-mentee platform to encourage participants and see the establishment of ideas.

Creativity boost through activities such as writing boot camps, spelling bees, and talent hunts, and donation of books and other materials, and computer literacy training.

Skill Acquisition Programmes.

It's a start-up NGO, I'm finding it difficult to get funding.

Dear Oludolapo,
Congratulations on your "baby'! I call it baby because of all the growing up pains but also all the potential for growth and impact waiting to bubble forth! Well-done for starting even without leads for funding. It is an incredible project that will make a difference in the lives of so many children. Good on you! Maybe when it reaches Kenya, the Kenyan sisters can collaborate.
All the best to keep the dream alive--to nurture the 'baby' until she's fully grown and helping others grow!

Hello, Oludolapo,

Wow, congratulations on starting your own NGO! I love the vision and mission you have there, dear. That's true, start-up NGO is quite challenging when it comes to funding, but I encourage you to check the Offers at World Pulse Resources Page from time to time because Ana consistently shares funding or grant opportunities, some agencies are generous enough to award funding to start-up NGO. I hope you could a match! Please keep us posted!

Dear Oludolapo,
This is such important work, and you have lept a hurdle by getting an NGO set up. Big congratulations. There have been so many barriers set up for women to have the money we need for this kind of critical work. The work you have done at least makes you eligible. I hope that collectively we can all work toward funding getting to sisters like you.

My dear Oludolapo,
I congratulate you for this brilliant idea and original idea, and I wish you all the best in your fund-raising efforts.

Starting from Nigeria to whichever country you choose to include among the 15 will be a life-changing initiative worth supporting.
Where there is a will, there is a way, and I am sure that some philanthropic organization will buy into it.
All the best.
