I love Arts;
In all its totality
It may be, using words to create wisdom or a new path
Or creating beauty from Ashes
Art is my new way of life
Therefore I love concentrating on trash
Which means lots of sleepless nights over Trash
It didn’t start suddenly
It sprouts from my inner wound and pain
It blossoms in my daily thoughts
It thrives in my soul, Now Creativity lives in me
Digesting it was not as easy as I thought
Since I needed it as a wheel to drive Transformation
I decided to see each strand of fabric as intestine
While the heart of the matter is Transforming lives of women,
Creating community champions from abandoned female folks
How can trash transform lives?
How can the inconsequential become adorable ?
How do you expect to find beauty in Ashes?
How will the dead bones breathe again?
How can the abused become assets?
How can dirt become gold?
Sleepless nights did the magic
Listening and learning from others became the oil
Personal experience greases my elbow
Each strand of fabric glitters like gold
Little square of fabrics became beauty to the beholder
Gradually mind set change began in our neighbourhood
In a world where the focus is on external adornment
To make it plain and simple
It is trash today but treasure tomorrow
It can be squared of two by two, transformed into bedcover
To warm the body and caresses the soul
It can also be transformed into bags;
To carry our burden and light the soul
Yes, It is possible to create a cooking bag;
All from trash.
Until this fateful day, the day Art changed my life
When I began to pick the inconsequential -
The trash among the trash
And I began to create a new wall Art
Wall of love, not the border wall; Wall of Arts
From the minutest, I brought out the eye
From strands of trash, I created beautiful women
Small pieces of fabrics created wall hens, peacocks and elephants
A new me has emerged, ready to recreate more women
Olu: even knowing you, I get to know you in a different way after reading this poem. I'm printing it out and putting it above my desk to keep your spirit here with me every day. Your bright light helps me keep my own light burning. So grateful for your friendship.
Oh my darling sister, you are very kind to me❤ I carry your kindness with me wherever I go. Love you more.
Wow sis. Sending out such a powerful message on transformation in this poetic manner soothes the soul. We really need this transformation to cause women to revalorised themselves like the symbolic manner in which you turn trash to treasure. Keep soaring sis many need this light of yours to make theirs to shine. God bless the works of your hands so that many maybe transformed!!!!
My Lovely sister THANK YOU. You are very kind to me.
MY DARLING OLU,
IT IS ALWAYS SWEET FOR MY EAR TO HEAR ABOUT YOU AND READ ABOUT YOU. YOU ARE CREATED TO CREATE WEALTH FROM TRASH.
YOU ARE CREATED TO BE A CHANGE LEADER, YOU ARE IMPACTING THE WHOLE WORLD. YOU ARE A BELL TO AWAKEN MANY SOULS WHO ARE CRYING IN THE DARKNESS FROM POVERTY.
GOD BLESS YOU MY PRETTIEST SISTER EVER.
WITH ALL MY LOVE

Hell Olu, when you write, you reach more people than you could ever imagine. In writing you become the voice of the voiceless. I also write even though I haven't published anything yet. Keep writing, never give up.
Oh yes. I agree with you.
Thanks for commenting
Helo Olu. I could say that trash can also be a treasure. Being creative that makes all women should be.
Exactly. Yes. Trash can become treasure if we take our time to transform it.
You inspire me to pursue my own creativity, Olu! Thank you for leading the way. Imagine if we all saw the trash of this world as treasure waiting to happen? THAT is life-changing!
Oh How I Love you my sister Sarah. You are so kind. I will cherish you forever.
Do you know that I love you? YES! I love you sooooo much
:) Much love to you too Olu!!
Thank you my sister.
Olu, your poem touched my heart! Your artwork created from trash is beyond beautiful. It has a powerful life of it's own.
What an inspiration you are to all of us to look at the world -- even the things we thoughtlessly throw away -- as raw materials waiting there for us to use to express our innermost feelings and to create positive change in our communities.
Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes, you are right. All we need to do is wear our appreciative lens in order to discover the treasure in every trash. Every abused woman is an access yet to be discovered too. We all have innate abilities. We are a bundle of untapped potentials.
thanks again
Thank you for this moving inspiration, Sister Tosin, which speaks to me about the power to transform. I'm moved by your example to find new and exciting ways to express the beauty I too see in the world. In this, I see the power to heal, and to engage the best each of us carries in that part of the jhuman spirit that responds to art and magic. Blessings and gratitude to you for all that you do to bring others to the party!

Sys Olutosin ~
You are forever embedded into my heart. One of your beautiful expressions (and so much more) in the form of a bag for my teen daughter was a moment of story sharing and bonding that I do not have the words to explain.
Blessing in all that the "night magic" brings you.
Adoringly,
Della
Those bags are amazing, but sister Tosin is more amazing:)
