Food first

Sisters City is a Paradise for women.  It is situated in Owo,  Ondo state Nigeria. It is on thirty six plots of land. Last December, I was able to engage a professional  horticulturist to do the landscape.

We planted 370 fruit trees, 150 flowers and 126 Teak trees were on the property when I bought the land.

I know the importance of food because I had experience excruciating hunger before,  therefore,  adjacent to Sisters city,  less than three minutes drive away, I bought 40 acres of farmland to plant food crops.

The first 10 acres is the free farm for females.  We planted 1000 palm trees, 25,000 cassava, more than 1000 yam and more than 7000 plantain.

Because  food first.

Last month, we paid for another 30 acres, it is the sustainability farmland.  I have cleared the farm mechanically because its too big for manual  clearing.

My dream is to start a ranch but I believe that God can do it for me, still.

Because food first,  at the first gate of Sisters City,  we situated our Kitchenette.  Food will be available always.  It is close to the gate because when a rejected,  dejected,  abused and an oppressed sister walked into our city, she will be directed to the Kitchenette for free food.

Less than five minutes walk from the Kitchenette is the bathrooms building.  The sister is able to shower, change into new  underwear and a nice dress before meeting with us at the healing shed.

A sister is free to share or not share her story when she meets us.

But, a sister is not free to leave the way she came into Sisters City.
