Why I call you my sister

I call you my dear sister,
Not because you are from Owo,
Or its because you are from Oke Oja.
I call you my sweet sister,
Not because you were born in Ehin-Ogbe..

I call you my lovely
I know that you are not my father's daughter...
That I call you my sister,
It's not because you are Olanuwesi's daughter
That I call you my dear sister..

I call you my Sister sister
Sometime I will call you my sisterly sister
Not because we are related by blood
Not because we are same complexion
No No Not because you are an African...

That I call you my sister,
It's truly because,
I know your journey
I understand our journeys
I respect our journeys

My dear sister,  I call you my sister
Nor because of blood
But because of our shared experiences
Its because I know what we have passed through
Yes what we are passing through daily

That's why I call you my sister
Because we survived
We are thriving in spite of everything
We are achieving against all odds
We are sisters breaking every barrier.

This is why I call you my sister......

To every sister smashing Patriarchy!!!
