Strengthened Woman

Being a social entrepreneur and a humanitarian, i have been able to witness what  a lot of vulnerable women go through in life. I recall a peace building initiative we carried out to mediate between  some indigent women in prison/correction centre and their accusers. A particular case has clanged my memory  over years. A woman was held in the corrective centre for over eight months for not being able to pay back a debt of less than USD75 for some piece of yams she bought. Through the peace building initiative, we were able to mediate on her behalf and this led to her regaining her freedom. This has further thought me that we need to be there for each other; especially for the voiceless and the vulnerable.

I live my life a strengthened woman in giving voices to women's health as a patient advocate, advocate against Violence Against Women and Girls and promote peaceful coexistence to make the world a better place!

I want the world to know we all need each other irrespective of our classes.
