About Me

I am lawyer, gender activist and human rights advocate. I studied Law in Nigeria and the UK. I was going to be a top Corporate/Commercial Lawyer after my studies, and then I got the opportunity to go to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands as an intern for 6 months. My experience at the ICC changed my views about life, justice and my career focus. I am convinced that the problems we face in the world and particularly in Africa is as a result of the failure of our justice systems and poor implementation of human rights. I am a committed wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I enjoy interacting with people and sharing experiences and knowledge. My family, Human rights and justice, The Law, Books, Music, Art African regional human rights system, International human rights law, Legal and social research, Project management, Gender mainstreaming, Women's Rights
