Congolese Women from North Kivu so excited to be connected to World pulse

I am so excited to facilitating training on women's empowerment through the use of the internet and social media in the North Kivu province in eastern DRC. Here, women are so excited to join the Pulse community to share their stories with other women in the world. I am convinced that the use of the internet and social media is a very capital factor in empowering women in eastern DRC. Neema Namadamu, Passy Mubalama and Pascal Byamungu are a strong team supported by Tiffany Purn and Delphine. Passy

Hi Passy -- Thanks for sharing your thoughts. There definitely needs to be more opportunities for women to learn about and use social media and the Internet. It's a great and powerful tool to not only empower them, but also help them reach out to billions of people. Hopefully your training will reach out to women in underserved opportunities. Good luck! Hope to hear more about it.
