Introducing to you Taita Taveta Professional Women Association (TTPWA) which is a non profit, non political organization whose main pillars are mentorship, networking and women empowerment. Part of its activities is to encourage women to share ideas on how to empower women and girl child in Taita Taveta County, one of the minority counties in Kenya. The organization draws its membership from women affiliated to Taita Taveta County from all professions.

TTPWA holds an annual gala dinner to recognize women who have excelled in various fields. There are various categories including; Best Female Artist of the Year Award, Business/Agriculture Award, GBV/ Women Empowerment Champion of the Year Award among other categories.

I am very honored to see my name among the nominees under the Media/ Public Relations Personality of the Year Award. Voting has officially opened and will close on 25th November, 2019. My friend Rozina Mwakideu has been nominated under Female Artist of the Year Award. Another one is Julliet Shali Shambi under the Best Technology and Innovation Category.
