Introducing myself and my journal: Living in a shanty town



About Me:
My name is pauline . I was born and bred in one of Africa largest slum. It is a life devoid of so many privileges and securities and worse very little is done to support dreams as a result most of us find ourselves trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty.



I was lucky enough i went to school got a degree in law. Initially, and the reason i worked hard in school was to be make alot of money and leave this shanty town. I have had a change of heart now.i want to work with young people not only in my hood but also in other shanty towns to enable them to earn and life productive lives. I have been doing that for the past three years, it hasn't been easy but there are signs of hope.



L.I.S.T is about creating a platform where young people from slum can aspire for better and more than a life of mere survival and creating a platform that can support their aspiration.



My Passions:
Working toward social change, campaigning,social entrepreneurship ,reading and journaling



My Challenges:
resources both human and financial



My Vision for the Future:
An interconnected world in which every the world poorest can access needs and live a life of dignity. s basic

Lawyer: Governance,policy, youth and social entrepreneurship, education.
