Food security in Uganda

Morning all,

It is 08:45 in Kampala Uganda, from a business idea i got due to food insecurity in Uganda birthed the elgon foods a division in my company. I want to take the first step to buy food both for sell and storage to create a food reserve which is non existing in my country. As we grow as a business the grass root farmers we purchase the food stuff grow as well,

how do i do this?

Creating a relation at the grass roots where we buy beans, peas, rice and millet from farmers get together with women groups to prepare/sort/pack the produce so that it is stored in good condition hence economically empowering women as well as teach them through our action, encourage them to grow their crops and have us buy them to earn a leaving. Our point is that this woman selling to us her produce must have a grinnery in order to sell some of the crops and store some this will help her to have food at the some time earn. if we keep such a spirit food shortage will be cut down in Africa.
