Peace building is one of the greatest challenges we are facing today in the word. No region of the world is immune from violent conflict which has inflicted immense damage, caused untold grief and hardship for millions of people especially in Africa.

Without any doubt peace is wanted in Africa as in the rest of the world. Recent studies in Africa have shown that peace building strategies focus on conflict management rather than delving the root causes. The peace question may be seen in two ways namely: resolving conflicts, as well as creating conditions for sustainable peace. Recent United Nations (UN) statistics from 35 African countries indicate that the largest category of conflict perpetrators and victims are the young people. On the other hand, statistics show that youth contribute to 65 percent of the entire African population. This in itself is an indicator that youths are a pinnacle of rekindling a sustainable culture of peace in Africa. The lofty idea behind the formation of Peace in Africa international an organization for the young people is tailored into three thematic areas:  Peace Building (creation of peace Clubs in schools)  Education and empowerment (migrants inclusive) Entrepreneurship Peace in Africa is set to advance the promotion of peace, education/empowerment and gender equality in Nigeria, Africa and among the nations and regions of the world. The organization also functions as a catalyst, and think-tank for policy inputs.  Peace in Africa , since its inception in 2014 has committed itself irrevocably to conflict mitigation and educational development in Nigeria and beyond through participatory research, capacity development i.e. experiential workshop and seminars, and advocacy, sensitization/awareness campaigns, networking with basic programs for young people as…  •    Educative film shows. •    Excursion designed for schools in rural arears. •    Career orientation seminars •    Workshops •    Distribution of basic school materials including sanitary wears for female students •     Peace in Africa is working to realize the value, principles and goals contained in the United Nations millennium summit declaration: peace, security, development, poverty eradication, human right, democracy, governance, protecting the vulnerable and meeting the special needs of developing countries especially Africa.    Growing up in the military Zone, (Ojo barracks which is the biggest cantonment in West Africa) I understood the necessity of peace with a practical knowledge of the effect of War in the lives of people young or old. Young people who grew up in military zones were usually addressed as barrack boys or girls a term most of us were not proud of as bulling, gang fighting, teenage pregnancy, stealing and other forms of youth radicalization and violence were what people considered to be associated with that name.  How i survived not being a bad egg to my society is still incomprehensible, though one thing I know for sure is that education and access to the right information and materials were my chances and this is the opportunity that I am willing to render to the people around with no basic criterial of status being attached to it. I want help channel the strength of the youth towards a better and violent free life.  Early this year I had introduced what I can the Inclusiveness theory which is education+empowerment+employment=peace and development  So I started employment and Empowerment In the domestic job sector (Home Keepers).

I hope to register my NGO in 2018 as it has been difficult doing it alone especially since am no longer fully employed.

Thanks I appreciate your concern it's really encouraging.

I hope to go we're no will, reminding people that someone out there Care's. Clothing, feeding and shelters are necessary for survival. The extremist groups have a strategy of giving basic needs for survival so the only way we can counter thier strategies is by also providing basic needs and employment/empowerment possibilities. If you want to fight crimes, first deal with it causes on the grass root level through INCLUSIVENESS.
