Addressing my sisters on why we should be each others keeper

Few days before I was thrown out of my home with my son, I was at Makoko on land for giving. I had gone door to door asking people to look into their homes and bring out those useful unused things in their wardrobes, box's, kitchens, garage, stores or back house.

Along side my giving Mum group we had made our way to the slum though we couldn't go on water but those on land got this gifts from my sisters and i.

The joy on their faces where endless their smiles where priceless.

I am having a very tough time this period but calls from several slums and villages won't stop calling, how did they hear about Giving Van,how did they know my name.

Realising that my sisters and children somewhere are counting and hoping on me for something to eat and wear this Christmas. Non of them know am out of job and out of my home for a while now.

My vision is clear but my mission needs support sisters. Look around you and help me put things together for our sisters out their.

Most of the helps we get arrive Nigeria for sale. Let your items get straight to the grass root with love.

Come December 25 I will be going to the slum like I did last DEC 25th 2018.

If you have items for women and children living in local communities pls pack them up and contact me on +2348055736065. You can find me on face book to see more of my previous work (Edith Ijeh Umeugochukwu)  this project starred in 2014 and has been a personal effort till today.

Let's make our sisters and their families happy this Christmas let love be your reason.

Dear Edith,
This is the kind of work that is so very important. You have touched the hearts and lives of many women, even though this is very difficult for you. I hope that many send what they can your way. Is there a way that sisters who live at great distance can contribute to you? Perhaps some will private message you to see what is possible.
With love in sisterhood,
Tam
