Poverty is darknes I am Light

This year just like every other year I will be visiting a slum for Christmas.  I have been able to gather my used items and have asked other sisters around to do same.

This is where I find my light.  Growing up was not funny especially when it was Christmas. I wanted gifts, food, cloths but then they where far from me .

I decided to be a blessing every festive period by taking gifts, cloths, toys, shoes and food to localities where they are needed.

The joy the fulfilment is all enough for me

In my greatest times of darkness I reflect on how much of an impact i have been and want to be to the world, this light of mine shines each time I am able to put a smile on someone's face.

I have been down and slashed to the floor yet am not giving up on the light I bring to the darkness called poverty.
