Am I just dreaming? Don't wake me up.

Same dreams, fresh starts. A little love to yourself as we approach the New Year. Wishing you peace, love, health, and happiness in 2020... 2019 has been an extremely significant year on many levels and I am feeling extra grateful for this community of amazing humans.

My dream for 2019 gives me chills but with a community full of amazing humans I am unafraid to shear this.

In 2020 I plan on visiting 10 communities with food, drinks, cloths, toys and lots more.

I have plan to raise 2million nira (almost 6000$) to achieve this. Since 2014 I have been able to see the joy going to visit communities brings them. I have been on water and I have also been on land, slums and streets where you witnessed real first hand suffering.

The little I have to gives brings them hope and the feeling of not forgotten,  not alone. Since that day In 2017 one of the ladies at ajegule slums (water side) held me saying at list people remember us my life has never been the same again.

This 2020 I want to spread more hope and joy in the little way I can.

I need help to Achieve this

I need my sisters to shear in my joy

I need materials, finances and encouragement.

I am afraid of what this turns out to be

I my sisters now, two community monthly.

Your trash could be someone's treasure

What can you give to help spread this love and light in our community to the outside world.

I fear already ...... What if I fail?

If this is a dream then I don't want to wake up.

Help a sisters mission.

Note: I am not a good writer, ignore my typo errors and love a sister with her flaws.

Thanks for taking your time to read Sending you love and light .

Hello, sister Edith,

What a great plan you have for 2020! You may post a “Need” on our Resources Page and see if someone can help you or connect you with some network or partners.

Please don’t worry about your typos or writing. We focus more on the content here. Feel free to write from your heart. It’s the best language we all understand.

Have a great day!

Dear Edith,
This is such a good and important plan. As Karen suggests, perhaps by posting under "needs" your idea will be seen by more who might be able to help or send ideas. It takes courage to actually dream up such an important project. You have done this much and I wish you all the best for it becoming a reality step by step. Looking to who needs support the most is the best priority.
In sisterhood,
Tam

Dear Edith,
Indeed it's only love that we need. And I am very impressed you have similar goal. I suggest you try and see if you can place a crowd funding. That way you can share the link on your Facebook and those who want to contribute can.
I wish you the best and I am hopeful a great course is worth supporting.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great day.
Take care
Lizzy

Hello Dear Edith,

Congrats on pursuing your dream, dear! I know you will make it happen through shear determination, perseverance and discipline. I know you can do it and can't wait to hear about every milestone on the way to achieving it! Perhaps you could start a monthly collection in neighborhoods that are affluent? Or create a charity store for people to drop off what is no longer needed and then pass it along to those in need?

Much luck, and love, dear:-)
