ha ha ha man and their egos

my fight has begun. today at my workplace i have not encountered peace after airing my support for the kenyan advert which was banned -the one which encourages women to carry condoms. all the men said we should not try to change the order of things in the world women should know their place. and when i asked what that place was they were not to eager to respond and resorted to calling me names such as feminist, extremist and supporter of loose morals. their story is that it is okay for a man to be unfaithful but taboo for a woman the million dollar question is are they both humans or one is not. does that mean women do not feel pain or man should just get and do what they want all the time.most women at my workplace cringed and refused to comment for fear of being labelled loose or loud as meek women are considered motherly and wife material. do i become less a wife because m saying lets treat all people as just that PEOPLE. im dissapointed i thought women would be able to stand up for themselves by now but i now know that the evils of ptriarchy are deeply enshroude in the people and need strong fearless women to stand against them least we let ourselves down and lose the war.
a truly zimbabwean woman learning to speak.
i speak for myself no one speaks for me.
