the power of worldpulse

forgive me if I sound like the typical girl next door gushing and getting super excited about worldpulse. this may sound like a cliché but "worldpulse rocks". I have invited many people to join and their testimonies are just exciting. they are having their voices heard and are amazed by the experience.

now to my own experience besides being a hub of current, timely information it connects people. I get to hear the information from ordinary women which is refreshing as it speaks to the heart and is not ladled with political rhetoric and protectionism policies. everything is stated as is and I have met many sheroes who are making my world rock. world leaders are being built and groomed and as a VOF 2013 correspondent I am just overwhelmed by the support that is here. all my outrageous ideas or so I used to think have seen the light of day and someone thinks they are worth reading and believes in them and thinks I can do it. my self esteem is at its highest right now. I feel like ululating with joy, I am alive and women, our power lies in our numbers and worldpulse gives you that.

I know someone is thinking okay she must be overzealous but connect with women share your stories and start thinking about the crazy dreams you have and seeing them become a reality, changing you and also your world and before the week ends you will be in boxing me a thank you note.

PS-just yesterday I had an interview and just as I was about to begin explaining what VOF is about my high profile subject smiled and signaled me to stop and she said "I know about worldpulse and your programme". all I ended up doing was just smiling sheepishly with joy and the atmosphere immediately became light and we spoke like sisters and we went on and on as she put her other appointments on hold. her position was forgotten as we shared as women with a common unity and became equal. at the end she said, "I have been missing out not only are you sharing about Zimbabwe but Maldives, Darfur, Somalia, USA, Syria etc" and she promised to join this phenomenal global network of women who are really making the difference and indeed I appreciated once again THE POWER OF WORLDPULSE

we amy be powerless to stop an injustice but let there never be a time we fail to protest.
