International Women's Month Celebration

"Every day is International Women's Day on World Pulse."

In celebration of International Women's Month, World Pulse Ambassador Maeann organized Kapehan sa Cubao. And I was very fortunate to have a chance to attend it yesterday, March 2, 2020, at Quezon City.

We shared lots of good coffee, useful knowledge, tips, laughs and don't forget the doughnuts. The topics discussed were World Pulse PH's advocacy on Special Needs, Mental Health, and Disasters in the Philippines. Ate Doreen shared as well a place where we can enroll a short course on how to write at a very affordable price. Another one is how an online platform like World Pulse can uplift and empower women, how a simple personal story can inspire other women. And how today's technology makes it easier for us to raise awareness and spread our advocacies.

I'm ecstatic as this gathering boosts my confidence. I gained three more beautiful sisters that night, Ate Doreen, Ate Rojeanne, and Ate Dareen.

I learned that technology is a powerful tool. A powerful tool that we women should learn how to use to empower ourselves and stir up the world.
