Don't lose the spark that makes you,

Limit your expectations to avoid disappointment.

Hi Pratiba,
A warm welcome to World Pulse and hearty congratulations on your first post...succinct indeed. I love that you encouraged me not to lose my spark and sparkle. The second line resonated too. The inner voice is so powerful and significant. One should listen to it always.

We would love to read more from you and know more about you. I encourage you to complete your profile so I can get to know you better. :)

Loving hugs,
E. J.

Hello Pratiba,
Welcome to World Pulse. Thank you for that powerful message in micro-prose poetry.
I will take your advice and guard my spark, so that I can hopefully use it to ignite the spark of others.
As for expectations, besides avoiding disappointment, which is important, I find that limiting expectations helps me to be more grateful less judgemental, more compassionate. So limiting expectations is a really wise piece of advice.
Welcome to our sisterhood, and we look forward to get to know you more.
Stay positive, stay sparkly:)
Nini, in sisterhood.

Hello, Pratiba,

Welcome to World Pulse! Thank you for these two important reminders. How do you keep your spark alive, dear? I agree with Nini, there's wisdom in not setting high expectations. It does make us more grateful, and less entitled.

Please continue writing! We love to know more about you. Welcome again to our growing sisterhood.

Hi Pratiba

I feel your fire. Thanks for the reminder... We do indeed need to protect our spark, on days darkest, it's glimmer can blind the darkness.

Welcome to the Pulse. I trust you have found a home in this community.

Looking forward to reading more from you.
