We Officially Begin

After battling with four weeks of posting assignments, a period of waiting for the announcement of the VOF 2013 Correspondents, rejoicing at our names being chosen, meeting mentors and participating in training calls, the moment has come to face the real deal.

It is time to practice those things that we promised to do for our communities. It is time to tell those untold stories. Yes, it is time to show the stuff we are made of.

My fellow correspondents, let us do this together. Always remember that there is someone whose life will change for the better if you carry on this task faithfully.

A big thank you to Zoe and Delphine for the great work. Kudos to all our Editorial Mentors and Vision Mentors. And to Jensine Larsen, I can never stop thanking you. Thank you for this initiative!

J have buckled my seat belt and I am ready to ride on this journey of citizen journalism and digital media. My life can never be the same again.
