Our bodies, our freedom, our right



These were the words with which some of us marched for an hour through the busy roads of south Bangalore (an Indian city). It was our response to increased moral policing, gender harassment and sexual assault on people across India. (People includes women, girls, boys, men and LGBTIQ's). Irresponsible 'mainstream' television channels have indulged in voyeurism while insensitive, timid government officials have been shamelessly blaming the survivors of the gender violence for provoking it.
