I live in Oakland California, I am a activist, a feminist, and a writer and singer. I graduated from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley with a degree in Social Justice and Religious Leadership, I also have a Grad Certificate in Islamic Studies and Black Church. In April of 2017 I started a woman's mosque, and a year later it is still up and running despite verbal attacks, threats, and defamation. It is my hope that inclusive mosques are opened all over the world to serve a growing progressive Islam, that welcomes all, and rejects no one.
One day we will have the Islam that the Prophet intended, an Islam that loves everyone, supports men and women equally
We need prayers and your generous financial support
My expertise is writing and speaking. I can be a mentor, emotional support, and a guide.
