Press Pass Question

Hello Everyone!

It has been so nice to hear from you all as you receive your press passes! I wanted to answer a question that we received via email about them the other day, because I think it will be helpful to the rest of you as well.

The question was: What does having a World Pulse Media press pass mean?

Our response: The press pass is meant to show that you are affiliated with World Pulse Media and help verify your credentials as a practicing journalist.

The press pass may help you in getting into events, conferences, and interviewing government or local officials. However, for each event or interview, you will most likely have to apply for a specific event press pass ahead of time, and it is up to the discretion of event organizers or security to recognize your World Pulse Media press pass.

In other words, it is up to you how far you take the power of the pass!

Jade, who has worked in the field as a journalist, used her press pass from the newspaper she was working for in Chile to obtain event press passes for concerts she was writing about. However, she had to arrange for this ahead of time. She also used it to get into restricted press areas in speaking events, rallies and conferences.

We would love to know more about how you use your press pass locally, any issues that you run into and how you solve them!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

Kind regards,

Rachael
