When does training program start?

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to quickly clarify a few things for you about the start of our program, especially since there is so much information to take in! I urge each of you to take a close look at the detailed calendar (you can download it from the bottom of our group page). If you look closely you will see that:

  1. The official start of Module 1 and the training starts on November 15th.

  2. Our Voices of Our Future orientation calls are scheduled on November 15th and 16th.

  3. The Q&A (Question and Answer) calls are scheduled on November 22 or 23.

I want to quickly explain to you a few things. We have opened up the online classroom ahead of time, so that you can familiarize yourself with the layout and how things work. That does not mean we expect you to start working on your assignments! However, you can start reading through the materials for Module 1 if you'd like to.

The orientation calls on November 15 and 16 are meant to serve as an introduction for each of you to the program. We will have approximately 1.5hrs to go over the program, how things work, and answer any questions that you might have.

The Q&A calls are for Module 1 materials. By the 22 and 23, you should have read through the materials and during the Q&A call, we can answer any of your questions regarding the materials or your first assignment.

Hopefully this makes sense to each of you! Please don't worry too much about all the information and all the links, online classroom, etc. We will have time to answer your questions on the 15th and 16th. We will also be recording these calls, so if you are for some reason unable to make the call, you can still listen in!

Please let me know if you have any further questions. Let's start using this PulseWire group for our space to answer questions--both Scott and I monitor it on a daily basis! You can still send me emails as well (of course!) but if you think your question might help other people as well, the best thing to do is to post it here!

Cheers,

Rachael
