Irene is finally out of hospital corridors after 18days of sleeping on the floor.

A women's health should be an issue of concern. Health care should be affordable for all. I have had to remove women and children from hospital corridors in the past months and years but I decided to share the story of this 21years old orphan girl who after two major surgeries could not afford the over one thousand dollars hospital bill.

I got an anonymous phone call from a lady early this week telling me about Irene who has spent 18days sleeping outside the hospital ward on the floor because she couldn't pay her over 1000$ hospital bill.

I rushed to the said hospital and I saw things for myself it was a pitiable situation as the young girl and her two sisters lay down on an empty floor hoping for a miracle for the past 18days so Irene who has been operated upon can go home and rest.

I was able to talk with them and I was told the only way for them to go home is if that bill is fully paid. Right there in distress and pain as I watched them I called two sisters who responded immediately and together we were able to raise the said amounts and immediately I was able to pay the entire bill and Irene was finally free to go home after 18days of sleeping at the hospital corridors under the cold and mosquitoes.

Women deserve to be treated better in cases like this. No one wants to be sick.
