Make your own culture, follow and preserver it

I have suffered exclusion from almost every that part of activities which are proven to be healthy for one's life. For example, I am forbidden to dance which is a way to joy and happiness, to sing or play any musical instrument which are skills, to play sports because shorts make my legs prominent, ( should one cut off her legs in order to play) to be friendly and nice with the opposite gender of mine. My culture does not allow me to be friends with guys and if I did they will call me whore and I will publicly be discussed as an alien someone not belonging with them. Then they would tell me to preserve and represent it. Someone please tell them that o dear brothers culture is a way of life " NOT IMPOSITION" of laws. Banning a mass population ( women) from healthy activities in the name of culture and back biting and discussing people is what I have seen my culture to be like. I find nothing civilized in that. APOLOGIES I do dance to my favorite music, I do sing, I have lots of guy friends and they are very nice and at the same time I am from Chitral. I don't follow one particular culture, I make my own culture,, represent it and also preserve it.

Hi Rakhshinda. Thanks for sharing your story. I'm glad that you are defiant and still doing the things you love, but I am concerned that you are so angry. I understand why you are angry, and rightly so, but do you have an outlet for your anger? Do you journal, pray, or meditate?

Thank you for reading it.

Actually I am not angry, but hurt. Hurt so bad because I can't help much save the women of my society. My voice is not heard and its like  I am helpless because even now in 2017 some parts of the world people still practice stone age practices. I do meditate yes and to throw my anger away I write, I talk to myself and keep writing. I am sure one day I would be read and understood for fighting for our rights. :)

At some point of life I feel like neglected because no one would understand you and you are like one colorful spot in between all dark spots, and people see that a threat to them unfortunately, but deep down I am sure my attempts of thinking positive about the women of my community will never go just in vain. I am happy that I can fight back anything and everything.

You're welcome. That makes sense that it doesn't feel good. Being repressed doesn't feel good. Agreed, but I think you are making a difference just by speaking out and doing what you're doing. What is your mission? What is your vision? What would you like to do? Be the change....

This is my only vision to teach human love human, human to respect human and human to be equal in every walk of life. I might not make a huge difference but the life I can connect to the very number of people  in my life I can exchange love and peace and hope. I dream of a World of no hatred, a world of no killings and wars, but only love. If we only know to speak the language of love, of kindness then  every sort of inequality and discrimination  would disappear itself.

It is said that " love is the soul of the Universe" I look up for the world full of love and peace.

That is a big, clear vision:-) That's an awesome dream, too. Very true. How can you spread your message of love, peace, respect and equality? Dream big:-) You have a story and mission inside of you...

Thank you for your encouragement. First I will travel around and meet people and see world through their eyes and via my blog and writings I will leave back the generation that love is the sole purpose of our existence. We are created for a reason and the reason is to do good to yourself and the people connected with you.

In fact I have been travelling around. Even in Pakistan I have stayed in so many cities and then I have experienced a life in the US. I won't just say that experience was a year in life rather life in a year. I learnt so many things that i never knew. Then the journey of life took me to Bangladesh. Here I am experiencing whole lots of stuff and new face almost every day. It tells me how people are different at one point and how they are same at the same time. The language of love is a universal language and every one craves for it. Then my experience in an Orphanage Nepal, that was a complete different view of the World. God's creation and the way this universe is balanced its just so amazing. :)

Where did you go in the U.S? Traveling is always a good learning experience for people. True, we are all connected; we just don't behave that way:) Yes, it is!
