Enlightened

The chilling pain

dropping down my spine

tangles my breath

I must not lose consciousness!

I am aware of this melancholic despair

It has gotten me wounded

like a suffocated breath

stuck between the flesh and the spirit!

In the now that I dwell

I regret the past not

, long for future neither

I am sure wherever It be

I must be high on life

Be glory on you, darkness

hail sorrows, and hurt

thank you for walking along

the path towards enlightenment.

Hello, Rakshinda,

I wonder what experience caused you to have chilling pain. This resonates with me,

"In the now that I dwell
I regret the past not
, long for future neither
I am sure wherever It be
I must be high on life"

It's a powerful ending to thank even the dark times that led you where you are today. Thanks for sharing!
