I wouldn't hurt, it wouldn't feel
I would emotionally detach.
I wouldn't cry nor lament
I would be unknown to sorrows
I wouldn't sigh! wouldn't exhale
I would always be a fresh breath
I wouldn't flood in the memories
neither nostalgic for the unknown
I would shut the doors forever to my past
I would confirm to the norms
and be afraid of stigmas
I wouldn't interrogate
and hide behind your history
I wouldn't experience the joy
amid hurt and misfortune
wouldn't liberate to taste
my dear freedom!
I wouldn't think, wouldn't ponder
If only, I weren't a human being!
If only I wouldn't think??? really nice one. Keep it up
This beautifully captures the things that we do daily without thinking, because they are so embedded in our humaneness!
To not think, feel... To have no memories! It reminds me of the philosophical quote "I think, therefore I am".
