Let me self confess

of my miseries

my burdensome heart

sheer helplessness

I am scared!

I long for the unknown

for my very own

burn down the light, please

for it conceals my secrets

my feelings have died

within my heart,

Do you hear me?

I am a living tomb

with only emptiness enclosed.

Don’t talk to me, for God sake

keep away your doctrine

It adds to my suffering

let me attain Nirvana

I know my own path

My death is near

I sense demise

I am drowning slowly

, but only into nothingness

Dear Rakhshinda,
What a powerful poem. Even one moment of looking into the depths of what life brings can bring this profound need for complete freedom to face it in our own ways. Your poem though a moment of despair, emboldens us to have the courage to stay our own paths.

Hello Rakshinda,
Going through fear is the process of attaining courage. Have you watched Emir Khan's film "Three Idiots"? The characters are ultra scared before their greatest moment of courage. And they have this heart reminder to be brave: "All is well, all is well".

When we are scared we look for one thing that is 'well' as our life line to courage, and then we can break through nothingness into the exuberance of life, give life in a cycle of courage.
Cheers to you:)

Dear Rakshanda,

Your poem is short but well-written and powerful.
Moments of despair and nothingness are part of life, but in the end, each of us, through patience and courage attains her Nivarna.
May you stay your path and may you find internal peace.
