Striving to Make my Vision Come True

My main vision is to open a new chapter of those women who have been missed and are disconnected from the globalizing world.

My personal vision is to be able to have a life where I can always help people solve their problems. I want women to be confident. It hurts to see women suppressing their pain just because society has made them silent. During my research, I met only a few women who were suffering from uterus prolapse. After a community discussion, a woman followed me and she told me that she was also a patient of uterus prolapse. I felt glad but sad as well. I was glad because she thought I was worthy enough to be a part of her suffering and I felt sad because she did not reveal her problem because it lies it her uterus. Society has suppressed women in such an extent that they cannot even take care of themselves even if they want to. I want to learn motivational skills and motivate people around me through blogs, direct communications or even by organizing seminars and orientations. In addition, I will get married to the person I love and break the contemporary tradition of arrange marriage. I will support both my families emotionally and economically.

My vision for my community is that all girls are going to school and are getting along with boys. Schools are providing international level education and women are given special preference: no woman is excluded from education. These kinds of school have branched in all districts of Nepal and students are provided with hostel service for those whose house is farther from the school. Placements are carried out for student’s Undergraduate, Graduate and PhD studies. The students do not have to worry about job placements after their graduation because they can teach in any of the schools in Nepal with high wage and extra facilities. Education is not limited as many streams are being introduced every year.

My vision for the world is that there are no women rights and people are only considered about human rights because women do not need the special category called “women rights” for living an equal life as men. Numbers of women in presidential level and parliaments have increased drastically and civil wars as well as cold wars between countries have been solved. A women’s perspective of dealing with conflicts and misunderstanding is more effective and harmless than the ways men come up with as a solution to tackle problems. Developing countries are developing in higher rate and women are playing important role in this endeavor. In addition, a memoir is written which is a course book as a part of women anthology for most of the popular universities. The memoir is about the journey women in society: being suppressed by stereotypes and violence, and now enlightening the world with their amazing efforts.

I highly want to be a Voice of Our Correspondent as it will allow me to learn more about the situation of women and existing opportunities to enhance my skills, and get motivated to work hard for the upliftment of women. As it is my vision to introduce this amazing globalizing world to the women of Nepal who are reserved within the hills of Nepal. Learning about the opportunities for their empowerment would be very helpful. I not only want to introduce them but also teach them the ways to raise their voice and experience different life than what they are living. We all want to do something; we all know we can do many things if given opportunities. The only thing that prevents us from learning more about ourself and developing our skills is not having access to those opportunities. As World pulse and this campaign are rich in the opportunities and motivation, I want to be a part of it. I want to let women in rural parts of Nepal know about this program, but since in the Mid and Far Western part of Nepal, there is not even telephone service to get in touch with the outer world, I am still thinking of ways to make a bridge between those women and World Pulse.
