EROSION in Komkom Community in Oyigbo local government area

Erosion has left a deadly damage on rail tracks in one of the communities in Rivers state, KomKom.

Farmlands and homes in KomKom community in Oyigbo local government are  also on the verge of been washed away by the ravaging erosion.

Correspondent Racheal Ramson was there and now report.

Oh, dear. That’s a huge whole caused by erosion. It’s safer to evacuate from that place. It’s already dangerous to live there.
It’s good that people and authorities are aware of it.

This is excellent reporting on an issue all too often pushed aside by Governments following money without long term planning. The voices of these people whose lives, lane and livelihood are being ruined, need to be heard. We all need to heed every way that our planet is being exploited and ruined. This is yet another powerful wakeup call.
