A poetry to start with

{1}

A thirty year old woman

Asking permission from her husband

"Should I cross the road "

A thirty year old woman

{2}

I and my brother

Have no resemblance

What should I say at the hotel reception

He is my husband,

I and my brother have no resemblance

{3}

In the hotel I am eating vegetarian

A man sitting in front me is eating non vegetarian

But still he looks hungrily

Not at the chicken

But at me.

In the hotel I am eating vegetarian.

{3}

It is 9 O' clock in the morning

I am in the first bus to home

I m dressed in blues

Blue nail paint,blue dress,blue bangles

A man comes near me

"I love having men like you on my bed"

In the first bus to home

I m a woman travelling

At 9 O' clock in the morning

{4}

After a long time

I see a woman smoking,

Is there still a possibility

she would not have been burnt

inside someone's kitchen,

on some one's bed or

by some one's eye.

I am happy that at least

She is litting a fire for herself

After a long time

I see a woman smoking

And I am happy.
