All thanks to the World Pulse Spirit Award I was able to bring gifts to orphans at the LUC Memorial Rehab Foundation. It was such an emotional moment for me but at the same time gave me another reason to be grateful to World Pulse and talk about this lovely platform. https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/regina-afanwi/posts/99103#
I also learnt from the children that they had been giving a quite notice from the rented premises that they were operating it. In tears I asked where they were going to leave to. These children as Young as 7 years to 18 years were engaged in molding blocks to construct on a piece of land donated to them by the Royal Fon of Mankon Bamenda. Early rains had come and destroyed some of the blocks. The children were devastated at their wasted efforts but were not discouraged especially as they had no other options. A few months later I got horrible pictures from the orphanage of children sitting out during the day and accommodated by neighbors of good will at night so they could have where to sleep. This has gone on for months. Finally, they managed to raise up one floor but with no facilities and are desperate to move in. Dear sisters these children are so desperate to have a place of their own where they could call their home. That is why I am launching this fundraiser so we can give them the hope they are so desperate for.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful support you have always given me in my work to support my objective of giving tools, resources and empowerment to the vulnerable people in my community. I'm asking everyone for their help again so that I can make even more necessary impact for the children in the local orphanages who have such extreme lives with little comfort and joy. Please help me to bring more love and essential items into their lives so that they are able to have a better life.
