October Encourager Party; Its always such a healing Therapy for me/many

“I can’t thank the World Pulse Team enough for this beautiful initiative “OUR ENCOURAGER PARTY“ I can attest to the healing World Pulse brings. World Pulse has become a home for me/ many”

I belonged to other network of women in the past but nothing compared to world Pulse. It was basically talking either about work, business ideas on how to make money which is not bad though, but I when I joined world pulse I discovered it was different. Amazing ladies who do not only care about my profession or money making but holistic wellbeing, going above and beyond showering me with so much unconditional love. Women who have thought me how to love even more, who make me feel enough and who are always available to listen and make me feel heard. On my part I have taken the commitment to share the word about World Pulse and to get many more ladies sign up to this safe space. I wish they would all listen and jump on board. Honestly, I strongly feel this is a place where all women should belong.

Its always so exciting when World Pulse sisters come together to encourage, validate each other, listened to and feel loved. I always look forward to this beautiful moment when it we seem to be sitting in one big circle in the same room holding hands and telling our stories. Stories of achievements, love, challenges and successes etc. and feeling the healing which always comes with being a part of this wonderful family. Uncountable times I have broken down in tears in breakout sessions during encourager party especially with all the challenges I am going through, but no one Judged me, instead I felt your warm hands wrapped around me through your beautiful words of encouragements. Today I can tell my story with a broad smile on my face because you ladies have helped me become the strong Regina. Thank you, so much lovely ladies, I want you all to know I appreciate and value each one of you!

This month’s encourager Party was one of the best I have ever attended. I was actually on the second day of a digital story telling training with the PIRL institute, so I tried Multitasking as I was determined not to completely miss out on this special moment of joy and laugher with my world Pulse sisters.

I signed in 5 minutes before the Party began, how nice to have this five lovely minutes with Dawn as no one had signed in. We chatted about our families, work and so many other things. She always has her usually lovely smile on her face through which you can feel the warmth and beauty of being a part of this sisterhood even if you were attending this party for the first time. Thank you so much Lovely Dawn for being you and thanks also Manasa for always being there to facilitate especially technically. You both Rock!!!

Then came 3pm when the encourager party started. We were all welcomed by Dawn and reminded about the polls. The polls showed sub-Saharan Africa had the highest with 100 percent. Wow!! That was amazing. Dawn welcomed new encouragers and asked us to unmute and make a welcome noise for them. That was so heartwarming. She explained the criteria for ending an encourager badge; three steps were involved, sign up on world Pulse, find stories and start reading, post at least 10 comments a month. We listened to our featured storytellers Esther and Hawwah who explained the inspiration behind their stories.  Please Log on to world Pulse to read more about their stories.

Then came party time when we logged on to World Pulse to read and with some beautiful music at the background, encourage and uplift at least one storyteller for 10 minutes. We were assigned into different breakout rooms so we could connect with one another and also share the stories that resonated for us.

Wow!! I was truly excited to be in a room facilitated by Jill. Each one of us shared about the story which resonated for us and then we had some time to talk about other things that concerned us. Above all there was also a lot of admirations for Jill’s beautifully colored earrings she was putting on produced by me for her birthday. Carolyn also had this beautiful African outfit and lovely earrings that we also appreciated, then my pretty red colored necklace made by my daughter Therese. On coming back from the break out session, it was time to say Goodbye. Surprisingly every one stayed on, filling the chats with so many messages of love for each other and our beautiful sisterhood, while looking forward to our next encourager party. Congratulations to all who made it to the party and for those who couldn’t make it, I want to tell you all that we love and missed you at the party and hope you can make it to this month’s encourager Party.
