Opening up my appreciation box for the Unique World Pulse women leadership

 I grew up in a typical African setting where women leadership is almost not recognised or even allowed. More so I come from a family of eights girls. My mum never had a son and so my extended family saw us as no good. Fortunately my father never paid attention to all the myth and negativity surrounding the girl child in Africa. He educated and empowered us with so many skills including leadership skills. We supported each other to develop these skills. I can still remember even in our play groups as young girls we volunteered as leaders at the least opportunity. My Dad recognised the uniqueness of the female lead and was so determined to instill those qualities in his eight daughters. Thank you beloved Dad for always being an advocate for women leadership and for always making us having this positive feeling that women are created differently with some real unique leadership qualities. All we need to do is support, empower, inspire and  motivate  each other to  bring out the best in us.

 All thanks to my work relationship with Veronica Ngum she introduced me to World Piulse were I have the opportunity to experience and be part of these amazing women leadership style. Today I open up my appreciation box in recognition of our sisters on World Pulse who's leadership style stand out and whose lead has has impacted us on and beyond the platform. I start by recognising the fact that;

When women lead they connect and so i celebrate the Unique leadership of Jesine, Larsen. Thank you for this great initiative of World Pulse that enables women to work locally but connect globally. For bringing women to put ideas together that would pave a way for the long awaited generation equality. Truly when women lead they connect each other for a greater purpose. Thank you Jensine for connecting us women and I am so humbled to be part of these amazing women. World Pulse is where every women should belong, a place where I found an extended family, a place I  call home.   

  When women lead they empower each other; Before I joint World Pulse I have never attended an international conference. I didn't have opportunities to be on zoom calls. It sounded abstract to me because most of my work meetings were face to face meetings. Thanks to the leadership of one amazing , selfless and kind hearted woman leader Jill langhus more than 300 women and i have been able to attend three aspire events in a year on a free ticket and many more international event which she has shared on social media plateforms. Her desire to empower other women, her unique ability to loby enabled her attain the goal. Jill will stop at nothing to share relevant resources with women on World Pulse and follow up to make sure you are getting the most out of it. Although it requires a lot of time, energy and hard work to do all that, she is willing, happy and ever ready to do so unconditionally. Thank you for your unique leadership Jill.

When Women lead they are great advocates.

I hail you Mama Tam who is a brilliant and committed advocate on issues concerning women and other global issues. Mum Tam constantly and persistently advocates on her social media pages and beyond. She has been coordinating webinars and zoom meetings bringing women together to look for solutions on these issues. She has a nice way of enlightening everyone with advocacy ideas whenever she encourages  on World  World Pulse. Thank you Mama Tam for all the wonderful  skills other women and l have learnt from you  which is helping us as advocates of women and global issues. Thanks for the love and zeal to advocate dear Mama Tam. That's the uniqueness of your leadership.   When women lead they encourage and uplift;

Before I joint World Pulse I never  placed a lot  of value on encouraging and uplifting others. After One week on World Pulse I received a mail from Jill asking me to apply to be world pulse encourager. I was super excited and that's when I realised those words of encouragement empower and uplift. Today I celebrate your leadership style beloved Karen .  I value your commitment as Encourager Advisor at World Pulse. I appreciate all the time you spend to read stories, analyse detailed and write valuable comments. Comments that Validate, uplift and make everyone feel enough.. Comments that makes everyone feel heard  and seen. Through Karen's leadership with a desire to encourage and uplift others she has/ is building a team of powerful encouragers who can confidently encourage within and beyond World Pulse no matter the context in which they find themselves. Thank you for your wonderful tips at each encourager's party. Thanks to the leadership of our amazing Karen we are able to meet our goals despite the challenges we face daily and I can attest to this!!!!.

    When women lead there is total commitment to their work;  A big congratulate to you Dawn, Manasa, Anna and the entire World Pulse team for such commitment to your job. I always did hear about women's commitment, in fact before I joint World Pulse I thought I was extremely committed to my job , but after I joining World Pulse , I have seen, felt and enjoyed what it means to be committed from these lovely ladies. They are super unique in that they always have a smile on their faces which makes them very warm and approachable. These women are so committed that they would respond to everyone promptly anytime , anywhere. They know everyone by name and profession and can match women up with upcoming opportunities that would benefit them. That's the beauty of women leadership and makes us stand out different.

   Women's leadership is participatory. I can proudly say at world Pulse we are all being trained to become great women leaders. -For example on Ambassador calls we are all given the opportunity to participate as MC or presenters on different topics.

-On Zoom calls every participant is given the opportunity to say something.

-During celebrations of major international days, World Pulse sisters are given the opportunity to participate through presentations on the context of the celebration or join panel discussions. Even before the events fellow World Pulse sisters are ever available to mentor each other to ensure the event records a huge success. Thanks to the participatory style of World Pulse leadership I have had opportunities to do presentations in webinars a thing I never dreamt of before becoming  a member. Thank you all my World Pulse sisters and leaders.   I might not have mentioned everyone on my write up but I do recognise the fact that we are all leaders on World Pulse.  Am proud to declare that our leadership and our power as women is  UNIQUE because we belief we are stronger together. World Pulse sisters are tied up with cords that cannot and will never  be broken!!!

I celebrate your Empathy, Tolerance, long term vision, Vulnerability, Sustainability and intuition and am so proud to be amongst these women leaders whose leadership stand out in society!!!
