Thank you World Pulse for moving me a step ahead!!!

When I received a Message from Manasa telling me I hard been recommended by World Pulse to do a presentation at the https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/forum/2021/Agenda/Session/130, in excitment I immediately phoned up my husband in prison to let him know. And he said \" World Pulse is making you go places, please give my appreciation to those amazing ladies\". I immediately wrote a letter of appreciation to Manasa, Dawn and the World Pulse team. Then I sent a mail to my mentor Judy and to our always inspiring Jill. I told them I was excited but nervous. That was my first international platform I was going to be speaker at, apart from the presentations at the World Pulse. A lot of fear surrounded me. First my internet connection, secondly the other speakers I will be presenting with and thirdly the audience. I visualised one of the thriving Thursday calls we had on overcoming fear and how my sister Arrey inspired me so much by volunteering as Mistress of ceremony for her first time. Thank you so much amazing Arrey that has always been my source of inspiration when I am faced with such situations. Also I knew I had my World pulse sisters and my family as a strong support system I could always turn to in case I had challenges in preparing. And that's exactly what it turned out to be.

Honestly my mentor Judy,  Jill  and my sisters were amazing in helping me prepare for the presentation. I wanted to be the best  to be truly representative of  World Pulse at the conference so I put in my best.    At the conference I presented on my experience in using technology to enhance economic empowerment of persons with hearing impairment which is actually my initiative on the featured change maker program, (https://www.worldpulse.com/node/add/impact-leader-project-update  support needed and recommendations. I also talked on my collaboration with other stakeholders of inclusive education and the impact it had on the students ts in view of technology. I did  speak confidently especially as I knew I had the support of these powerful women . At the end of the conference I received a mail from each of these women congratulations me for doing so well. I was proud of my achievement. I felt blessed being part if the sisterhood. Its so amazing that despite the fact that I still have a lot going on in my life and have even added, I see myself excelling in my professional  life. Personally I have become a strong woman through all the love, encouragement and inspiration from you all lovely ladies

I want to use this opportunity to send my appreciation to you all.
