Introducing myself and my journal



About Me:
Rhania Bensafia was born and raised in France, in a small town called Roubaix. She studied psychology and worked as a counselor. It was there that she met and married her husband. In 1992 they relocated to the United States settling in Chicago, Illinois. She became a French teacher teaching in several elementary schools. In 1998, they moved from Chicago to Portland, Oregon. Rhania decided at that point to continue her education by taking class at the NW film center where she produced her first documentary about the homeless. Her interest grew in film, and as a result enrolled at PCC majoring in Video Production. Her specialization is in directing, cinematography and video editing.
