Accelerating Nominations for Sisterhood#SpiritAwards

On 4th of October, 2015 as I read through stories from sisters on World Pulse, I came across the story of her great journey in life. I was very impressed by her determination and her parents who treated her with equity. She never gave up when challenges arouse even when highlighted negatively by the then media. Through her story she spoke to me, to us on World Pulse and to everyone who read it.  She told us to keep working hard despite the many challenges involved in our work until we get help for the girls and women in our communities and nations.

She created something I love so much ‘A Safe back’ for girls and women, a healing center for women and encouraged interconnections of women centers and other shelters.  I always love the creation of safe spaces for girls and when she shared her story about the ‘safe back’.
