It’s not merely a goodbye but a new beginning

It’s been a great journey ever since I have joined Worldpulse. In fact I can proudly say it was the best months I have ever had in my life. Every time a mail from Pulsewire pops in my email I eagerly read and see what was the beautiful message it carries. It seemed like as if I was day dreaming when I have been selected as one of the 30 Voices of Our Future Correspondents, but it was a reality and my eyes were full of happy tears. Without the help and encouragement of the inspiring friends here, this journey wouldn’t have been as simple as it was. Thank you all my dearest friends for all the encouragement you gave me.

Especial thanks: to Jensine Larsen who made this site possible and without her untiring effort we wouldn’t have met. Thanks to Rachael and Scott who always kept us on the truck, always inspired us, updated us with great opportunities and they had never got tired from us. Thanks to Jade Frank who always kept us updated whenever there was a new campaign or opportunities, we became so close when I joined Worldpulse and encouraged me to explore more on the site and in fact without her I wouldn’t have experienced this great site. Jade was the first person to lead me to this great and resourceful site. Thanks to Aimee and Olutosin who were my supporters, encouraged and inspired me all the way. Thanks to my mentor Eunice and midwife Pushpa who always stood my side, inspired me and never got tired from my thousand queries or language barriers. We were closer than close, helped me improve my writing style and always gave me the best advices ever. Thanks to my close friends Sarvina, Farona, Nilima, Emie, Fungai, Warona, Harmony, Ni Ni Aye, Vivian, Martha and Mursal who always checked me in every time I was lagging behind “Hey are safe out there” or “Is everything all right? You have been missing these days”. Thanks to all my VOF fellow correspondents and Pulsewire friends who inspired me with their encouraging comments all the time. To those friends whom I haven’t mentioned their name doesn’t mean they are not close to me. Each and everyone of you has a special place in my heart and you touched me in such a way that I cant and will never forget.

Now I have got friends more than thirty countries. Every time I hear the name of a country, the first thing that comes to my mind is the name of a friend I know who will be there for me if I ever happen to be in that country. Since the VOF correspondents group will be close as from May I loved to send you my gratitude. This is not merely a goodbye but a new beginning, a new journey to explore, educate others and to help our sisters and brothers out there whom their voices haven’t heard yet. Being a graduate is not that we learned and that is it, but we have carried responsibilities and we have to fulfill it. The best thing that happens to us in this world is changing ones life into better.

I will share with you my vision of hope, as together we can refract darkness. I will share with you my realm of sound, as together we can silence the screams. I will share with you my voice of reason, as together we can reach lost souls. I will share with you my arms outstretched, as together we can carry away the pain. I will share with you my knowledge of life, as together we can make a difference.

It’s not an easy endeavor to have good friends like you. I saw the greatness in the good manners, the brightness, the kindness and all characters you showed me which I admire and appreciate. I placed my trust in you. Lastly let me say a wish which is from the core of my heart not from the corner, its from the breadth, width and the length of my heart, I threw it through you and you have to catch it.

You are unforgetful and unforgettable
You are liking and likable
You are all that a friend would have.
I love you big times and will miss you all the time.

Keep shining, keep thriving and keep educating the world.

In solidarity and affection,
Ruun.
