Introducing myself and my journal: Living for Change!!!

About Me:
Saba Ahmed is a Pakistani-American law student at Lewis & Clark Law School. She completed high school equivalency (O-levels) from The City School in Rawalpindi, Pakistan at age 15 and at 19 she graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics. Saba has been working at Intel Corporation for over six years in various different engineering and management positions. She also holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. She will be completing her law degree with a focus on International Business and Intellectual Property Law this year (2009) at age 24 from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. Saba recently took part in the National Lawyers Guild delegation to Pakistan, where she interviewed several lawyers, judges, civil society members and political party members. She has since been speaking at various events in Oregon and Washington about her trip and has been featured in the Oregonian, NPR News, and other radio stations and magazines. She has a unique American and Pakistani perspective because she has lived in both countries and sees the good and the bad of both sides in terms of education, values, human rights, economy, inflation, healthcare, etc. After law school, Saba hopes to focus on her patent law practice along with bringing about change in the U.S. Foreign policies towards Pakistan and the Middle East. Saba is currently working for the Oregon Governor's Legal Counsel.
